"... a well edited and suspenseful visual narrative." Cynthia L. Penter, Cleveland State U.

Terminal Cell (216) is an answer to American sociopolitical issues and turmoils of post-9/11 era. It's an audio-visual metaphor filled with irony, black humor, and controversy - all packed in a stunning 10 minute picture. Liberals will love it, conservatives will hate it... The truth can be harsh.
Terminal Cell (216) was Bruno's first motion picture project. It was concived in Cleveland State University's new film school (the first official film production class, thought by Cindy Penter). The project called for a short silent film to be shot with an old Bolex H16 camera, with no budget, limited time, limited location choices, and amateur cast - an experiment in filmmaking. Bruno wrote a short treatment, a controversial dialogue based on various speaches and public "stunts" by some well known politicians. It was shot in 2 days, with 2 local actors, and 2 voiceover narrators. Adding various SFX and "montaging" various pictorial elements, Bruno made it into a stunning short live action that carries a very powerful message.
Notes: Bruno shot several sequences by operating camera and acting in front of it - at the same time. The "bombmaking sequence" features Bruno's left hand "in action", while pressing the shutter with his right hand. He used the same "one man crew" approach in the "coin scene", "mirror image scene", and more...
The film had a public screening at the Cleveland Museum of Art (as part of an independent film retrospective - FastForward '05)
